Updated Preliminary Task

In this updated version, we added a shot reverse shot which included dialogue.  We also got rid of the repeated clip on the stairs.

Preliminary Task

As an introduction to AS Media we created a Preliminary Task in order to gain knowledge and skills in filming and editing.

Our short film had to include:

• Match on action
• Shot reverse shot
• 180 degree rule
• Continuity

Things I liked about the film:

• Lots of camera shots used
• Complicated editing of the camera shots
• Good continuity

Things I thought could be improved:

• No shot reverse shot
• Accidental repeated clip on stairs
• No dialogue
